Dear New Friend, 

When you invited me to your church fundraiser I imagined singing and dancing and someone casually asking me for a donation. I did NOT imagine everyone sitting in the pews and you calling me to stand in the front of everyone until I put money in a basket. 

I must say... that was effective.
