Dear New One-Room Flat I'm Supposed to Move In To (Someday),

I've seen you so I know you exist. I've even walked into your one-room so I know you're not merely a mirage created by my daily longing for my own space. But everyone keeps telling me I can move in to you in two weeks. They told me that a month ago. They said it again three weeks ago. Then two weeks ago. And then yesterday they even said "Tomorrow" but then today they said "Maybe in two weeks." So now I'm wondering... and maybe you can answer this question: Is " In Two Weeks" Afrikaans for "Namibia is playing a HUGE joke on you"? Because I'm starting to think it is. And it's pretty typical that I don't understand Namibian humor. So the theory adds up.
