When I said I'd call you by your nicknames I meant like "Peggy" instead of Margaret. Or "Bill" instead of William. Except I don't know African nicknames so I just trusted you. BIG mistake. Turns out I've been referring to a bunch of you as famous footballers. Apparently Zidane (Real Madrid- retired) is in my class. And Messi (FC Barcelona). And now I'm slightly embarrassed and want to call you by your real names. But I don't know them.

GR, my dad says this is his favorite post of yours so far, since its something that is universal, that all kids would try.

Reminds me of when we'd have a substitute teacher and we'd pass notes at the start of class agreed to exchanging names. Then mid-way through the class we switched names again with someone else just to see how confused we could make the teacher.

For the record, I for sure know who Zidane is but this kid pronounced it "See-tah-nay" so I didn't make the connection.
